In behalf of the Board of Governors and Members of the Philippine
Corrosion Society, Inc. (PhiCS) takes pride and honor
to organize the 15th Asian Pacific Corrosion
Control Conference in Manila, Philippines.
This event's theme is "Corrosion
Control Research and Technology and their Applications
in the Industry" which
aims to enhance awareness of current research activities
and recent developments for corrosion control, increase knowledge
in corrosion for more effective asset management and to provide
a venue for learnings that will include exhibition between
corrosion practitioners , applications, products and network
among specialists, service providers and the consumers.
The Philippine Corrosion Society, Inc. is at the forefront
of the corrosion awareness and embarks on this very important
activity to be able to reach out to more industries and share
knowledge in the corrosion field.
Our host country, The Philippines is the third largest English
speaking country in the world. It has a rich history combining
Asian, European, and American influences. The Philippines
boast of seven thousand one hundred seven (7,107) and main
island groups are Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Capital is
